I worked as a courier in London, consulted on strategic planning for Russian single-industry towns, managed complex real estate, opened my own spaces and bars, launched urban planning design at a major bureau as an invited team leader...

From each of these expeditions into the outside world, I bring back new skills for architectural work, which set our studio apart from regular architectural practices:

I have a deep understanding of the work of investors and developers, know the practice of construction work, and am familiar with the cultural and business specifics of various countries, including those in the African continent

Each of my projects is always a synergy of the client's goals, who wants to unlock the potential of their space, stay ahead of the market, and create a unique piece of tomorrow's architecture – and my own vision of future architecture

Every few years, I update my lecture series on where architecture is coming from and where it is heading, and what it can offer to each individual, human culture, and the planet. I make this complex philosophical material clear and engaging – in this form, it appears in live presentations and on YouTube
